- Stop Letting AI Think For You: A Smarter Way to Create Content That Actually Sounds Human
- Beyond AI Slop: The Simple Dictation Method That Keeps Your Authentic Voice
Here’s a hard truth about the current content landscape: most of what’s being published with AI sounds exactly like everyone else. Same structures. Same phrases. Same hollow feeling that no actual human was involved.
But here’s the good news: it doesn’t have to be that way.
I’ve spent over 20 years creating content—long before “content creator” was a job title. From TV and radio to podcasts and books, I’ve learned that your authentic voice is the only thing that truly separates you from the noise. And now, with artificial intelligence everywhere, protecting that voice matters more than ever.
That’s exactly why I developed the DTS Method.
DTS stands for Dictation, Transcription, and Summarization. It’s a simple but powerful workflow that lets you speak your content into existence—using your genuine voice, your real expertise, your actual personality—while letting AI handle the busywork that used to take hours.
In the podcast episode below, I break down:
- Why speaking your content (instead of typing it) preserves what makes you unique
- The exact 4 pieces of metadata I ask AI to generate for every episode
- How a simple tweak in how you prompt AI can multiply your audience reach
- The specific formatting rules that make your content discoverable across platforms
- Why this approach is “ethical AI use” versus the content farming you see everywhere else
Press play below to hear the full discussion. Whether you’re a solo operator, a creative professional, or someone who knows they have valuable knowledge to share but struggles to get it out into the world, this episode will give you a system that actually works—without losing yourself in the process.
Listen to “Stop Letting AI Steal Your Voice: The Simple 3-Step Method to Create Content That Actually Sounds Like You” on Spreaker.UnEdited and very flawed transcript from Galaxy AI follows
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (00:01)
A very important part of using the dts method, which is Simply, the initials for dictation, transcription and summarization, which is a way to leverage artificial intelligence. To increase your efficiency. It’s rather different than having artificial intelligence generate all of your content and come up with your ideas where the dts method again, dictation, transcription, and summarization is using your own voice to literally speak your content into existence, and so of course, one way that people have long been speaking content into.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (00:58)
Existence is simply by various different shows in which people are speaking. That may or may not be obvious to some, because some of the terminology has changed. Many years ago, we weren’t using the term content or content creators.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (01:15)
People like me were just creating it without labeling it that so I’ve been on TV shows. I’ve been on radio programs. I’ve been interviewed on podcasts and so on.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (01:25)
And so forth. Those different media outlets. And so that was me creating content, but it’s been happening for a long time, right?
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (01:35)
Books are a form of creative content since the printing press. Right? Which a lot of people credit to the Gutenberg?
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (01:44)
Press and everything I’m not sure if that was made to start making bibles, but that’s what it’s linked to a lot And then, of course, newspapers magazines Radio. Before radio, there were audio recordings of on records. So Anytime something is recorded and published and disseminated.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (02:15)
That’s been content creation. And anytime people would sit around and record and speak to each other with the purpose of and by publishing it for others to To consume that has always been content creation. And that is just one of the ongoing examples of speaking content into existence.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (02:39)
So it’s not a new idea. It’s just that some people have become disconnected from the idea because of artificial intelligence. And without realizing that they can maintain their genuine And authentic voice.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (02:59)
By simply being themselves and speaking about the things they know about just like what I’m doing now. And one of the most important parts about that is in streamlining, your workflow, is that what’s going to happen with this recording? When I’m done with it is, I’m going to ask DeepSeek.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (03:23)
For example, because even for all the flaws that this artificial intelligence system has, I find it to be superior. As a free model to even when I’ve paid for subscriptions with Google Gemini, and also one of the now standard Artificial intelligence systems that comes for free with the Galaxy devices as Galaxy AI, which so far has done a terrible job of transcribing. But it’s good enough, because it creates interesting enough summaries, which I haven’t even I’ve been foregoing using their summaries anymore.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (04:00)
So I’m just using their terrible Transcript. And feeding that to DeepSeek, and having DeepSeek summarize, that But here’s the important part what helps me to get podcasts out very, very quickly. Based off of the dts method right dictation, transcription summarization.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (04:25)
I am speaking as I am now and recording it, taking the Transcript feeding that to DeepSeek Usually I do that without even any other Instructions of any kind, I just copy and paste a Transcript. And then DeepSeek will Come up with its analysis. And sometimes a critique of what I’ve been speaking on.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (04:51)
And then, when I’m ready to publish it, I will do a couple of things. One. I will ask DeepSeek to come up with a compelling title.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (05:03)
Now over time, I’ve noticed that if I just ask it to do that a lot of times and this is not just for the title. But also for the description and for the tags. And now I’ve realized I have to do this also for the image prompt.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (05:20)
Is it would take very specific? It’s very literal, and so if you just ask it to do that, it’s gonna Make the titled the description and the tags specific or branded to the content which is fine. If people already know you, but if you want to get it to a wider audience, and I’ve tested this out.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (05:42)
And I’ve split tested it many times already. Most recently, on LinkedIn. Which one of my most popular?
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (05:50)
I wrote an article on there, and it blew up really quickly. Using these is that you have to ask DeepSeek to create a compelling title that is beyond the specifics in there. But that based on the content of what you’ve dictated What will draw?
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (06:13)
The largest audience to your content, who would be interested in that, based on what they can, what deep seat can cross-reference from the net? What kind of people would be interested in this content, and then also create the most compelling description to get people? If they’re just looking at the description, what’s going to get them to press, play and listen to that.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (06:34)
And then also, the most optimized SEO tags. Now they’re going to draw people in who follow hashtags, who find things through hashtags. And it has to be done, because if I were to just ask it to do that for something like this, it might put dictation, transcription and summarization in the title.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (06:55)
And then maybe even my name or certain things that I’ve spoken about. But if people don’t already know what that is, and they’re not looking for dts or dictation transcription in summarization, then very likely they’re not going to find it now before that was actually fine. Because now when people look for that or they hear me talking about dts and they search it, there are podcasts and blogs that have that as the title and so they can find there’s a track record of me using this that there’s a history of it online, and I also now have recently published a book Call the human signal that talks about dts.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (07:37)
But before that, in order to reach a wider audience and I will still do it now even though people are starting to catch on and people are starting to Google, my name and find out stuff about me. And looking to see what kind of background I have I still opt for the more generalized. What’s going to reach a larger audience, basically the top of the funnel, to bring them in to understand who I am and what I’m doing.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (08:07)
And So the three things well, four things now. That I have DeepSeek provide for me, which are known as Meta data. It is a compelling description that’s going to get people interested who are basically entrepreneurs or small business owners or gig workers or people who basically work for themselves and want to build a business.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (08:37)
To listen to the podcast and a description that’s going to do the same, the tags that are going to do the same. And since my main hub that I publish everything on is spreaker. And it can take no more than 20 tags.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (08:51)
Then, I specify that I need to have these 20 no more than 20 tags. They need to be separated by commas. And if there’s more than one word in the tag, it must be separated by underscores.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (09:06)
And it will provide Rap for me. So I get a description, I’m gonna get a title, a description and the tags. And then I ask it for an image prompt that I can feed to another AI system.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (09:18)
Because deep seeks so far as I know, does not generate images that will fit the The podcast Header. 4, this particular subject, and so those are the 4 pieces of metadata that I ask DeepSeek for and this is what helps me to streamline my podcast publishing process. If I am then going to embed the podcast into a blog which I haven’t done so much of lately but it also helps with SEO search engine optimization.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (09:59)
Then I will ask you for the same. I’ll say I would like a title. A description mention that the podcast is embedded there and what they’ll hear from the podcast, but also there’s a lot more information in the blog.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (10:09)
That’s more text. Heavy for people who just want to read sometimes. I’ll even create a PDF and put it in there for people to download.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (10:16)
But there’s all kinds of things, but it’s the same thing title description, tags, image, prompt. And then I used that, and I published it. And it makes it very, very quick.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (10:29)
And you know, if you want to call it something, this is this is ethical. AI usage. As opposed to people who and I don’t have any problems with people doing anything with AI, to create content in the economy and the way that people are doing Our desperate to and need to and have a very A very urgent need to build a business and earn money online.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (11:00)
I’m not faulting anybody for using AI in the way that they are. There are people who are using AI to completely 100% generate books. There are people out there who will say that it’s AI slop.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (11:11)
There are people who say it’s flooding the market and taking away from real authors and so on. And so forth I hear that I understand that I do know that writing is very, very difficult, especially for fiction, I’m really good at writing nonfiction and doing research-based stuff. I’ve been doing it for 20 years.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (11:26)
My first website eym.hypno athletic.com has been online since 2006. And that’s become easy for me, because I’ve built that mental muscle to be able to do that. But I understand that, for some people, it’s not.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (11:41)
And there’s a lot of hype and people are told you can use AI on and on and on, I’m not here to argue about that. But I’m saying that the term that’s used is ethical. AI use is what I’m proposing.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (11:52)
Here is to literally speak your content into existence, and the way to do that is through the dictation transcription and summarization method. By simply recording your voice having it transcribed, then feeding it to I use deep sea. You can use whatever AI system you want to.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (12:12)
Having it summarized that and then I will ask it for a title. A description, tags and an image prompt Now we’ll get The most people. Drawn to that information.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (12:31)
That will consume it. And I do that for both a podcast And some? Before a block.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (12:41)
And that’s Mostly What I used this for Every once in a while, I will put things on social media. But right now my podcast automatically gets published to Twitter to a Facebook page that I have, which is my name Hakeem alibocus, Alexander, on Facebook. And I’m not sure where else right now, but I do know that also there’s distribution that goes to ihart.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (13:11)
That goes to apple podcasts that goes to various different. Podcast, I know that you can find it on. On what’s the For Amazon’s audible, so I’m fine all over the place because of using spreaker, and I’m not a big fan of a lot of the stuff that I just I personally don’t have the capacity all the time or the desire to be posting constantly like a lot of people.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (13:46)
Do on social media and I don’t have a team. So what I do is I use AI as my assistants. And that’s my team.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (13:55)
Because I’m a one person enterprise, and that’s the podcast that you will find this on one person enterprise.com. And the one person enterprise podcast on speaker, so that’s the dictation transcription, summarization method and with those little tweaks of the title description, tags and image prompt. You can knock out content creation by speaking it into existence, one medium.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (14:27)
Speaking. You can create all kinds of content with that. I mean, there’s so much more.
Dr Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander PhD (14:33)
I could take this audio and generate some images or use videos of me kickboxing, or whatever which I’ve done and just for 30 minutes, have my me on the screen. Beating up a heavy bag, but it’s me talking about something about being a one person enterprise or world reading club or papagamo. Whatever it doesn’t matter. And I can use that as a video. There’s so many different creative ways to use it.
